FIND Trainings

Foundations for Forensic Interviewing Adults

This five-day training is designed to support professionals in gathering information from adults who have disabilities and/or mental health disorders in the most reliable and legally defensible manner.

FIND Advanced Forensic Interview Certificate

Designed for established forensic interviewers with previous basic training and experience in forensic interviewing and or working with individuals with disabilities.

FIND Adapted for Individuals Who Do Not Speak

Designed to equip established forensic interviewers with the necessary skills to gather information from individuals who do not speak in the most reliable and legally defensible manner.

FIND One-Day Training

Designed for individuals working on multi-disciplinary teams (MDT’s) and in other service organizations who are seeking to gain insights on the risk factors, realities, and strategies for working with individuals with disabilities. 


When you complete this training, you’ll understand the unique characteristics of vulnerable populations, how to effectively communicate with them, and how to create safe environments for them. 

FIND Two-Day Training

Designed for multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) who investigate and support victims of abuse and neglect. This training will give you a broader understanding of individuals with disabilities and you will be introduced to the FIND Model of Forensic Interviewing. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to practice the new skills learned from the training.

FIND Two-Day Prosecutor Training

Designed for prosecutors who want to increase their knowledge about the needs of crime victims with disabilities and learn different ways to pursue charges in these cases.

SAFE Trainings

These trainings were developed by the Modell Consulting Group, LLC pursuant to a contract awarded by the US Department of Justice’s Elder Justice Initiative. MCG was proud to partner with DOJ EJI and is now offering SAFE Trainings.

SAFE Four-Day Training

The Four-Day SAFE training is designed for first responders including but not limited to; Adult Protective Services workers, law enforcement and other investigative personnel to more effectively communicate and gather information from alleged victims of elder abuse and neglect in the most reliable and legally defensible manner.

SAFE Two-Day Training

The SAFE Two-Day training is designed for elder justice professionals seeking to gain additional information on communicating with older adults who are alleged victims of crime. This training is for Adult Protective Services workers, law enforcement, district attorneys, attorneys general, victim services professionals, medical professionals, etc.

SAFE One-Day Training

The SAFE One-Day training is designed for professionals seeking to learn more about abuse in later life, the multidisciplinary team approach, and some general tips on how to communicate with the older adult population.
