The FIND Two-Day training is designed for members of multidisciplinary teams (MDT’s) who investigate and support victims of abuse and neglect. If you work in law enforcement, child or adult protective services, are a district attorney, forensic interviewer, clinician, or other social service personnel member this training is for you. 

The training is founded on forensic interviewing best practices with considerations and adaptations to account for individual disability, mental health disorders, language capacity, and cultural background. 


This two-day curriculum will introduce you to the basics of the FIND Model of Forensic Interviewing and practical applications for engaging and communicating with vulnerable populations. 


This training will help you better understand and communicate with individuals with:


  • Intellectual Disabilities
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Communication Disorders
  • Mental Health Disorders
  • Schizophrenia Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders
  • Bipolar and Related Disorders
  • Depressive Disorders
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Trauma-Related Disorders. 


Understanding the unique characteristics of these groups and the ability to communicate effectively with them is paramount in creating safe environments and conducting appropriate investigations for them.
