The SAFE One-Day training is designed for professionals seeking to learn more about abuse in later life, the multidisciplinary team approach, and some general tips on how to communicate with the older adult population. The training begins with a brief introduction to the concepts of elder abuse (history, statistics) then transitions to exploring the ways in which elder abuse dynamics and aspects of aging impact communicating with older adults. This training includes interactive activities.
