Scott Rodriguez

Scott Rodriguez is a contract consultant for Modell Consulting Group, LLC. Prior to joining MCG Scott Rodriguez began his career in law enforcement in 1991. Scott's career included patrol officer and criminal investigator. Scott retired law enforcement from the Dare County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina, where he served as a criminal investigator and child forensic interviewer. During his time as a criminal investigator, Scott specialized in investigations of crimes against children and vulnerable adults.

Scott currently serves as co-developer and trainer for the RADAR child forensic interview models. Scott also co-developed a first responder child interview model widely used in North Carolina by professionals such as law enforcement and child protective services. This model is designed for cases in which children need to be interviewed at case initiation and be done with proper training and strategies to avoid contaminating future forensic interviews.

Scott has conducted forensic interviews for more than 10 years at Dare County Sheriff's Office and child advocacy centers in North Carolina and Louisiana. Scott also provides forensic interviewer support for forensic interviewers in live or post-interview settings.
